Is this Australia's best job ever??
/What would your job title be? Australian Active Living Blogger aka Spa it Girl - Australia's Leading Luxury Day Spa Reviewer too.
How did your business come about? I had a passion for visiting Day Spa's - so I then had a dream about visiting Day Spa's and writing about them (I mean isn't that every girl's dream?) So I then started traveling the world and reviewing Luxury Day Spa's, now I am one of Australia's Leading Luxury Day Spa Travel reviewer's and I love supporting Australian Luxury Day Spa's and promoting them and that is now Spa it Girl came to fruition all through my passion and vision.
I also started in the Fitness and Health Industry straight out of High School and become a Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Les Mills Instructor so I too decided I wanted to help inspire other's and write, contribute and blog about that and help inspire other's get off the couch and to be active so they could feel good about themselves no matter what size or shape or fitness level they are.
Whats the most rewarding part of your job? Helping others to feel good both inside and out. Seeing them smile again and feeling like they are on top of the world and the world is not on top of them.
What’s on your bucket list? The Maldives and plenty more amazing Luxury Spa Travel Destinations both in Australia and around the world.
Favourite place in the world? Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday's - it has the most amazing crystal clear water, beautiful white sands, and it hasn't been developed. It's sheer natural Australian Beauty.
Who do you admire most? My Mother because she taught me to be kind to others, to treat others with respect and how to dress well and with style, she got me into to being fit as I remember being a kid and she would always be skipping, or taking us on a walk, or to the park, and she was the one who got me into reading, as she bought me a book every week to read, and she helped me to believe in myself, my ability and my dreams. My Mum use to watch Oprah all the time so growing up as a Kid I started learning about Spirituality and things like that from a very young age and who Louise Hay's was. She also has taught me to never lose your identity even if you end up being in a relationship stay true to who you are and follow your passion's and dreams and live the life you want to live and to never get up even when times are tough. I truly believe because of her positive influence on me this has given me such inner strength and character well beyond my years. Plus helped me now be in a position to live my Spa it Girl blogger dreams.

Yoga, Meditation, a latte coffee, working on creating Australian Active Living Spa it Girl collaborations with amazing activewear brands, companies and lifestyle people. Creating my series of #YOGAmatworkouts to help inspire others be active and to feel great inside out.
Helping others as I love to give more than I get and that is my #Spaitgirl Mantra - work, work, and more work. Photoshoot's wearing activewear everywhere. A gym class or a nice walk in the afternoon. Or trying out a brand new active living class, product, or thing.
Smiling my way through the day. Taking time out to dream, unwind and connect with those I love and like everyone else work, work, work.
Your favourite way to stay active? I love yoga and barre also I quite fancy an old school aerobics class like Les Mills Body Attack, a nice walk and of course my #YOGAMATworkouts they are a burst of HITT training on your yoga mat.
What are your essentials for healthy living? Practicing self love, self acceptance, kindness and compassion to both myself and others.
Eating as healthy as you possible by simply choosing fresh unprocessed foods. Choosing to smile and positive words both to yourself and others. Ditching negative talk and people who drain your positive energy - I think you need to choose your energy fields wisely.
Being kind to yourself through doing beautiful things like visiting a day spa, getting a facial or massage, taking a nice long bath, reading a lovely book, or sitting in peace and quite on the beach listening to the waves of the ocean make all the noise instead of your own voice. Being active of course however you choose you want this to be it can be a walk, run, swim as long as it makes you feel happy that is what counts the most.
If you could speak to your 13 year old self and offer some words of wisdom, what would you say? Don't try to be like anyone else other than your self. Don't think in order to fit in you have to be like those around you.
